HIRING: Back of House Paint Tinting Specialist
FULL-TIME starting immediately
WORK DAYS: 4x 10 hour days
WAGE: TBD based on prior experience
This role is unique & multi-faceted; no two days are the same. If you enjoy interacting with people & building relationships with customers & tradespeople, this is the position for you! All training required will be provided. Mountain Paint is a well-respected and locally-owned & operated business with over 25 years in Whistler.
The Perfect Candidate:
Works well as part of the team in a busy and friendly work environment
1-2 years of prior retail or customer service experience
Ideal candidate would have 1-2 years of experience working in a paint store / tinting paint (all training will be provided, but previous experience would be a huge asset)
Has a keen eye that can distinguish the difference between colours
Fun, friendly and easy going. Gets along with everyone and must love goofy, friendly dogs!
Great attention to detail and eagerness to learn
Very organized and efficient
Physically fit, comfortable with heights, and able to repeatedly lift 1-5 gallon pails of paint which weigh up to 50lbs.
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with clean driving record
Duties / Responsibilities include:
Tinting all paint orders
Conducting colour matches
Receiving daily paint orders; unpacking and putting orders away
Maintaining stock levels of all paint products, placing daily orders
Providing support/advice in-person and over the phone to customers and contractors on products and their applications
Providing excellent service to customers and contractors
Maintaining customer records of paint colours on file
Operating POS system and handling cash register
